It appears that as more people adopt smartphones, less people are actually talking on them. More individuals are using their phones for fun, social, business and multi-tasking purposes and have stopped talking to each other unless necessary. People text each other and use social applications to communicate rather than picking up the phone.

All of this boils down to one point – humans and technology have evolved to the point where we no longer see the need to pick up the phone when we receive a call. Instead, people screen calls and text back, send them a message via email or Facebook, or simply ignore one another.

Is this is the best way to communicate and achieve good and healthy relationships with one another? People seem to be losing touch with their humanity through the use of cell phones and modern technology.

The best course of action – pick up the phone people; it is sitting right beside you.
